It was OOOGALLY! That means really ugly. The wind at our last house had totally ripped the cushions on the patio furniture. I was ashamed to have this on my new front porch, but we had just moved and the garage was full of boxes. It had no where to go – it sat on display for my new neighbors to see…. a sorry sight.
My first task for the new house! Front porch makeover!! We won’t have our yard put in for a while, so I thought I NEED to take advantage of this great front porch. The striped cushions were pretty dirty and the ripped cushions needed some serious love. Time for a trip to JoAnn’s! The cushion themselves were still in good-usable shape, so all I needed to do was sew new covers.
Choices….
I started sawing easy envelope pillow cases for all the bottom and ottoman cushions. For the back cushions I simply just sewed up the sides and slide the cushion in. Easy peasy!
All I had to do then was tuck in the corners and accessorize!
