In my search for some gender neutral bedding to use in this shared boy/girl room I have been working on, I came across a company called Beddy’s- zippered bedding.  Their navy blue bedding was perfect for what I needed AND it zipped?!  Seriously, fantastic. I am not sure I can really express how wonderful I think this bedding is. First off I need to tell you that my five year old son has the best laugh in the world- brings joy to my soul. Every time he makes his bed, he laughs. He is SO proud of himself. Making his bed used to be a huge struggle, I had kinda given up. He would complain something awful, like he was about to die…arge! No fun!

But, now we are both very happy. He is like big man on campus now that he can make his bed all by himself. He is big time! It is great to watch him smile and laugh each time he shows me that he has made his bed. He is also insisting on showing everyone who comes to our house. I think he sold a few to an old neighbor the other day who stopped by to check out the new house…haha

The bedding is so simple to put on. It has elastic that hugs the mattresses below, securing it onto the bed. The bed sheet and comforter are all built in. No sheets bunching up at the bottom of the bed or any of that. It also has a minky fabric lining the comforter. I’ll be honest I was worried the minky would make it too hot for my kids to sleep in, that hasn’t been as issue at all. They love how soft it is and snuggle right in.

This was possibly the best purchase I have made in this room. I think I am going to be using these for a long, long time.
